After seeing it posted here, I ordered a Tri-Bar Fender Extension Light (p/n 91067-07) from Chicago HD on 4/29. Was not in stock, backordered. Called after several weeks, on national backorder. Weeks later, still on national backorder, should be off by 6/30. Arrived yesterday, installed yesterday. Love the look and the extra light. Bright as running light, very bright as brake light. Smoked when off (so are my turnsignals!) Only thing, it is chromed plastic! Oh well, can't have everything. Whatcha think?
I put one on about a month ago. I was also surpised to find it's plastic and having to drill into the fender on myRKCustom was a bitnerve racking.
A heads up...keep an eye on your brake lights to make sure they're working. Was out riding one night last week and noticed my brake lights weren't coming on at all!!!Went through a half dozen fuses tracing the problem to the tri-bar.Later, I found out from the dealer parts guy that lights on early runshave "known issues". That could be why you had to wait to get it. Right now, I'm waiting for a replacement light to swap out. They wouldn't replace the whole kit. Just the light.
Just put one on my Road Glide really like it, mine was on back order for about three weeks to, so maybe I got the new an improved light, I did silcone the heck out of the connection where it goes in the light though, Iwish it was metal though, really gotta watch those screws going into those plastis parts seemed prettyweak there. It's what the Roady needed out back I have the turn signals to brake light too almost to much but hey as long as they see me
UltraKla$$ic: What are you waiting for--buy the kit and have your painter color-match it. Hey, if the paint doesn't like the chromed plastic it only cost you ~$200 for the experiment.

Carl, With my luck, it would be TWICE that for experimenting.
