Not my idea, but I read a suggestion somewhere regarding installing or removing snap rings so when they launch you can find tgem. Use a 1 gallon zip lock bag and put it over the grip/lever while removing or replacing snap ring. They are called "snap" ring for a reason. I lost mine too, but when I went to dealer to pick up a snap ring they only sell the snap ring with the pin. I ended up going to Harbor Freight and bought an assortment of snap rings and e clips. I may try the e clip.
