Default Exhaust broken need advice


Well this happened the other day. Just wondering if anyone has tried a bush fix like JB weld to get through till i can get it welded?

Looks too wide for that. I'd try some exhaust wrap and a hose clamp.

Looks more like a zip wheel cut than a break. Too wide an opening.

Thanks for the info. i'm going to wrap it and put a hose clamp on it for now. Hope it works.

It looks like someone tried to cut it with a Sawzall, or something similar like rvkersh mentioned. Good luck, and hope your temporary fix works for a while.

That pipe is toast, you could remove it, take to a muffler shop and see if they cut off the bad and add new. Or call V&H and listen to their story. Either way, a temporary fix is like putting a bandaid on a wound that requires stitches.

Most of us here can understand cash flow issues but check the classifieds here or ebay. You might get lucky. Best of luck!!!
But it does look like it has been cut.

I will get it it welded a little later , I'm just in a pinch because of a ride on Sunday. Just buying a little time.
