Bogus Rebate offer from Dunlop
So for the last three or four weeks I was trying to decide on what brand of tire to put on my 03-RKC. Always had Dunlop 402s but the price was up there and I was contemplating Metzler or Shinko. After a lot of thought and information on here that Dunlop had a $50 rebate offer on a set, I decided to stay with the 402s. So I contact Dunlop to see about the rebate via telephone and was told, it does NOT apply to Canadian purchases. Nice scam they got going. On the bottom of their main page on the website it clearly states "This website is offered solely for the use of users of the United States of America and Canada." This is on their rebate promotion page. I like the tire and even though its only $50, it had a hand in swaying my choice. Not a big hand but 50 bucks is 50 bucks

It seems as though there is a specific rebate website for Dunlop tires purchased in Canada.
