I slotted mine between the factory slots and used a simple hack saw blade, just cut it deeper than the wide slots and make one or two slices about 1-1/2" deep and that will allow it to compress with the factory clamp. I also installed a rivet as a stop block near the rear mounting slide so it can't slide back without renmoving the rear rivet first. Worked like a charm.
I luv my TunderWut, but sum doods likes the Daytona Twins! Frankly, the DTT is ok, but the TunderWut is a muchsmoother install, and truth be known...the TunderWut makes an average of 4 more horsepower per install over than of its DTT competitior! (hehe) lol

Believe it or not, we only had about 1hr's worth of rain... the whole way home! It was dark & threatening most of the time, but that kept the temps down a good bit.
