I found a place called D-Tech, who will sell you the powder coated parts, and refund the core charge when you swap them out. Very reasonable prices.

Very well done !! I'm really a huge fan of chrome but that bike is sweet ... love the black/copper .

Just got mine back together yesterday. Cans, lowers, wheels and rotors. Used ARP SS bolts. 38 Pieces powder coated since I started the process. Back wheel and the chrome piece on the back of the starter left.

Blacked out look is the look.... Been doin it for a while... nearly done.. Winter-soon is the black front forks and cans project.. Just finished project: new after market Polaris side x side cage intall: got as bare metal, painted and liighting wired up. In trailer, headed out for the Glamis dunes tomorrow night.

thanks. I have blacked out the tank emblems, air cleaner screen, FLHX logos on footboards, and added stretched side covers.
