I've seen these also and wondered the same thing. Going to be putting on some apes this winter and have been looking around but not sure what to go with yet.

If your looking for suggestions, I run 10" paul yaffee bars. They actually measure 12" due to way Paul Yaffe does them. I got the classic bars and not the monkey bars, they are about $100 and very comfy, They are about as tall as you can go and still get wind protection for your hands
