Getting ready to buy a King Tour Pack for my 2013 Streetglide. I looked for a used one for while that I was gonna just get repainted but it's cost prohibitive, then I considered Advanblack, but for a couple extra hundred I can get a genuine Harley which I think is worth it. Surdyke has one, in the right color Midnight pearl (which is impossible to find a used one in this color), for a pretty dang good price. I called and asked the following questions but the gal I talked to on the phone wasn't sure and is supposed to get back to me. Does anyone know if A. The tour pack comes with the latch, hinge, and lock? and B. If the back rest off the 14^ king tour pack will fit the 13? The newer style back rest has the lower part of foam molded and covered with the upper, where the older one just has kind of a flap thing for the lower portion. The fully molded looks cleaner in my opinion.
Thanks for the feed back guys. I pulled the trigger on it. I'm guessing the tour pack I ordered is a new old stock one because the part number is the part number for the 13 pack in midnight pearl, which I believe was a 2013 only color. I think the only way to get the rushmore style would be to buy one and have it painted. I got this tour pack for $650, brand new. Not bad if you ask me. I also ordered the 13 and down back rest for it. Doesn't look quite as good but at least it will fit and be a proper match.
I just bought a chopped from HD. Came with all the chrome hardware but no lock the matching lock to my keys was 58 bucks and they sent 4 keys that do work in the rest of the bike. Ignition and bags And no on the backrest. I wanted the one off the 12 CVO because that is the seat I have. Ended up with the 14 CVO RK backrest. It's close enough all mine was about 250 more than Advanblack and for the much. I went OEM too.
I was just following another thread where a guy put a ‘14 on a ‘12.
The docking hardware for a ‘14 up will fit ‘13 down. Had I known this I would have went with the new style. The backrest, angle, and capacity are better in the newer Pak.

It is but not by much. 30ci. The older one is 4260ci the new one is 4290ci. What is better for sure is the hardware.
The tech who took the backrest off the used bike that I was doing to get to match my seat said the new chopped was much larger than the old one. It's not. They're both 3285ci.
