Agreed - there are dozens of threads for “what shocks should I put on my bike” for you to read and consider.
some will say cut to the chase and call Howard and get Ohlins - not a bad choice, and just as good to call the guys at Pro Action or even DK Customs and go with Pro Actions. Or, you could go Legends and be done, or go with Progressives.....
I think you get the point - there are LOTS of opinions out there on this subject.......that said - to summarize the dozens of threads, what’s your budget, and do you ride mostly 1-up, or 2-up? Those 2 answers will narrow the “best” choices for you.
So, read through the forum and have fun learning all there is to know about touring shocks.

many will agree with you - that you cant go wrong with Ohlins, and most all will agree that you will be VERY glad you ditched the air shocks.
looking forward to your review of the Ohlins setup you chose.
