I have no idea what an H4 beam patter is. Neither do I know what the lights look like to oncoming traffic. I do know that nobody has flashed me so I'm assuming I'm not a blinding threat. As far as a pattern goes, the low beam with passing lights is the way I ride probably 99% of the time. The side throw on the passing lights is excellent and the main headlamp fills out the pattern quite nicely. I have nothing but good things to say about them.
Got the Sunpies and installed today but didn’t adjust them yet. Do you all have space between the housing and the light? Is that normal?
Any close ups photos would help...
I too have the Sunpie lights and love them.
When you say space between the housing and the light - did you use the associated mounting ring (needed for older models of bikes)? If not extra mounting ring, do you mean from the light to the trim ring that covers the light? You may simply need to adjust the bulb in or the bucket to get the mount right.

Yeah just went out there and realized not adjusting the light yet makes it look kind of weird. The ones I bought actually came with the light, mounting ring and housing all assembled together.
Once I adjusted the sides evenly, it’s looking more like I’d expect it to. I’ll post pictures once I can properly adjust the headlight.
