Lmao. No worries. Thanks for the input guys. I took the bike to the dealer and as typical, the glitch didn't occur while I was trying to show it to the service rep. Oh well. If it happens again, I'll record a video of it.

I also noticed there is a software update for the GTS system. You can find it here with instructions on how to update:
https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...m-box-gts.html

I just did the update, and hopefully I never see this glitch again.

I use the FM radio on my 2019 Ultra all the time and the reception is good.

So it happened again today. It was really bugging out. I took the opportunity to pull over and video it. I also drove straight to the service department and luckily it happened right in front of the service rep. However, he said that if they can't reproduce it again on the lift, HD may not replace the unit. /eyeroll

The rep did say that it may be the switch housing shorting out. However, I think it's the touch screen. The right switch housing joystick alone can't switch between the info screen, nav, and music.

I dropped the bike off. I'll know more tomorrow.

Heres the vid:

So what's it doing? I watched the video twice. The only thing I saw is the touch screen doesn't like gloves. Mine doesn't either.

It is so sensitive that when I’m reaching with bare hands and I’m about 1/2” from screen it will select without touching. It may be your other fingers are hand may be too close to the screen and picking it up.

Nevermind just saw saw the video

I guess it may not be clear from the video alone. Normally touch response is superb, even with gloves on.

However, it has gotten into this mode a few times where it is bugging out like this. A few things are going on in this video:

1. It seems to not register touches, or they are registered at a delay. Normally, even with gloves on, a light touch is all it takes for instant response. When it's working correctly, the touch screen is very good, even with gloves.
2. When it does register the touch, often times it will register it on the wrong part of the screen (IE. if I click the middle of the screen, it thinks I hit the info button).
3. It will occasionally jump around from screen to screen, or activate random buttons on the interface. This even happened when the service rep started bumping the right switch housing with his hand, leading him to believe it may be the switch housing. Again, I don't think it's that. I think it's the touch screen.

Hopefully this clarifies it.

I just heard back from the service rep. Harley agreed to authorize a replacement GTS unit, which should arrive tomorrow at the dealer.

I'm taking mine in for the same issue. Is your new system working better?

Yeah, my new GTS unit has not had this problem even once. Good luck!

From what I understand the CB module will work without being Flashed. That prsumes you are using a 7 pin connector and a pugged in microphone and sound is through your speakers. However, If you want to be able to use a wireless headset, you need the WHIM module and that has to be flashed by a dealer. If by chance your UL had a factory installed WHIM, then there would be not problems adding the CB or using a wireless headset.
