The reason I noticed your thread in the first place was your reference to break arm, not sure what you meant. I have an extended rear brake arm if you will, more a pedal lever I guess. I usually try to be helpful but have never seen what I guess you are talking about unless the bike had forward controls. Good luck.

This is what I'm talking about.

My concern is the peg. I was wondering how that felt instead of the pad that my current brake arm has. I feel like your foot could slip off easily if you had to get on it in case of an emergency. Being as I've always had the larger pad/pedal, I was wondering if anybody that had this, or something similar, liked it. I was not trying to be a D. It just seemed like you were trolling me. Have a great day.

That was my concern too. Thanks for the input. I'll probably just powder coat the stock arm.

I’ve had brake pedals of all kinds of sizes, as well locations, over the years. Yes, they feel different, but it’s almost never been a big deal or a problem.

My thinking too...almost every other motorcycle out there has a peg rather than a pedal. If that’s what ya like/want go for it.

My Harley is the first bike I've owned that has a brake pad, all of the others have had a leg. Of course the Harley is the first one with floor boards instead of foot pegs so maybe that makes a difference. I'm with the crowd that says try them and see if they work for you, you can always go back to stock.

I put the ez brake pedal on my SG and changed the foot pad to a stiletto peg that match my highway pegs. I am very happy with it and have never noticed any difference in the "feel".

I've thought about those as well along with the matching shifter peg. My issue would be the black powder coating wearing off and looking like crap. They will no doubt feel different than a big 'ol brake pedal, but whether or not it too weird or uncomfortable for YOU can only be determined by YOU. As mentioned earlier, buy what you want, if you don't or can't like it, get rid of it and go back to what you know you like.
