We all know "Sunpie" is not even a brand. It is just a label put on the same Chinese Daymaker knock offs that a dozen other companies market on Amazon. They all buy them through Ali Express, or one of those consolidator / distributors. OP, I know several Amazon fulfillment guys who peddle this stuff. You may be past the return date, but go ahead and make a stink anyway. They hate bad reviews or ratings, and will do anything to get it quieted down quickly. I had one of those Motherwell Chinese Amazon knock off racks that seemed to get chipped too easily, and I made a big stink about it and the took it right back so I would shut up and say that they had resolved my issue. All you have to do is use the phrase "not as expected" in the return code. It's like a dog whistle for Amazon.
On the replacement, I agree the price of the real Daymaker is ridiculous. Now up to $600. A.Y.F.K.? When I bought my 18 SGS new last summer, even my dealer agreed the daymaker was overpriced, and sold me a knockoff that they carried right there at the dealership. I can't find the receipt, and I forget if it was Hogworks, or Custom Dynamics, but I know it it was an actual "brand" that all the parts counter guys loved, but not as cheap as the Amazon ones. It was in the $250 - $300 range. It's been perfect so far, and both beams are aimed correctly. Picking up the new ride. Headlight replacement was already installed. My salesman: "Turtle" I think it looks good on the bike.
Unacceptable. I would not have it.
I would contact the seller, and if not resolved, send it back.
"I never use high beam anyway", man, please. Down here on dark country roads, you need all the light you can get. You life may depend on it.
its a chinese knockoff, what do you expect? Caveat Emptor...

Well what do you know... Got a refund approved Ill be sending them back for a full refund!
Whats the deal with Eagles? Look like a good price and a lifetime garantee Im thinking they might be the ticket?
I have a set on my ultra and I really like them. They do have a problem with the high beam. Does go a little higher than I want. Your not alone and you did install correctly. I have tried both ways. Cutting the bucket and sunpie ring adapter. Same results.
End of the day... Sending Sunpie’s back for refund.
Going back to stock lights with Fuel Moto LED Bulbs. $85 shipped Headlight and Passing Lights.
I already know I can aim my stockers and they fit perfectly. Fuel Moto doesn’t sale garbage so I know these bulbs will light up the road as advertised!

I had that problem on my Electra Glide and I fixed it by cutting to stock headlight bucket/bracket so the sunpie light would fit by cutting the back out of the bracket. It fit better and I could adjust it and it didnt bounce around anymore either, very easy to do with a cut off wheel. The bracket that comes with the light belongs in the trash. After doin this I was satisfied with the light.
One more time, I don't understand. If the angle between the low beam and high beam is too large, how did making a more solid mount help to fix that?
