Tour pack multi-question/help
I consider myself lucky in this particular case because I have been patiently looking for one I don't have to paint to match my bike.
Anyhoo, I want to find out some info on this. I don't plan to mount permanently, but rather use in long/overnight trips, so I am ok with it not being perfect.
My understanding is that I will have to figure out a way to give the right clearance to the Rushmore bags, as they are not made to work with this type of tourpack, but I am thinking I can shim it just fine.
1. Do any of you guys know the color combo on this? The predominant color is Luxury Rich Red, which is the color of my RK, but the contrast color I can't find anywhere. I am thinking that later on if I find a set of fenders or a tank with that combo I can replace mine.
2. Speaker pods, are they of any value and does anyone make a "delete kit" to make it look factory with out having to fill and paint?
I don't have a stereo on my bike nor do I plan on getting one. I won't be using the controls on the pods either so no loss there.
3. Does anyone here use the eBay detachable mount, is it decent quality/safe? I noticed a Yiuuuuuge difference in price vs the MOCO version.
Thanks in advance.

I have an eBay quick release kit, the 3 piece that bolts together. Its plenty strong but Ive considering tac-welding the joints.
And as as for the speakers. I left the damn things on. Quite frankly it looks goofy without them and leaves some pretty decent sized holes that would need filler plugs, which probably would end up looking worse than the speaker pods.
