I am 6'4" abut 240lbs and the stock windshield is just to low. I keep getting smacked in the forehead by all kinds of interesting road debris. I am thinking of getting the +2" replacment, but was wondering if anyone has experience with the aftermarket offerings. HD simply wants to much $$$$.

ORIGINAL: electra trike

Save your money and cut the shield you have now.
We have a winner here.

I had mine cut down. The guy charged too much but he did a great job of measuring and then cutting. He put a real nice finish on the edge. And the view over the shield is just awesome compared to looking through it like I used to do.

Cut the one you have. It's still cheaper than a new one and if done right will fit you perfect. A new one might be closer but still might not be the optimum fit.
