Added extra heavy oil to the forks when I dropped the front end and colored her up (if black and chrome can be considered colors).
Road it for a while and was bent on the ride figured it was the springs and or preload and then searched our trusty site for info.
So I swaped out the oil after a good read, added type E back in and w h o l l y smokes what a difference!
I can't believe how much of a difference the weight makes. I thought I really hosed up by dropping the front? Now it is a whole different ride also added the True trac....... H A P P Y N E S S!!!
Good to hear you were able to resolve your problem. What the heck is that on your guardian bell? a small frog? Did you actually find it there or was it placed for the photo?

That poor guy jumped on at Union Grove Wisconsin and made it to the Mac City Bridge in MI. It was raining the night I left to ride around Lake Michigan I Road just north of Chicago to meet up with some friends and thats when we noticed him. We snapped the shot and I thought it was a bit unusual so I thought I would immortalize the little guy....[/align]
Goodstory about the frog, frogs are cool. [sm=smiley20.gif]you did put him in a safe place didn't you? About your forkoil, you say extra heavy, do you know what weight you put in by mistake? I know they have all weights of fork oil 5, 7.5, 10, 15, and 20. Just curious, and Thanks
