Taking my bike in next month for 5k service, gas cap recall, and change the broken fork seal (under warranty)
Anyway I am thinking of going to either heavier fork oil or maybe intimidators.
1. Does heavy fork oil make a stiffer ride? Can't figure out from what I read if it's a stiffer or smoother ride.
2. Would the heavier oil be about equal to adding intimidators?
3. Was thinking either 10 or 15 not 20 on the oil
If you don't go too crazy heavy, it will just inhibit the front brake nose dive and make for all around crisper handling. And those other items are Intiminators (made by Ricor), not intimidators lol!
First of all, Fork Oil weight is not standard like motor oil weight. What one brand calls 5w could be 10w with another. After a shiet load of research I went with Maxima 15w. Its between our stock fork oil and SE Heavy duty. It reduced brake dive, you feel the road a little more in a better way, yet it is not a harsh ride.

True,, there is not a across the board equality to them.
Best to talk to who ever does the work... and see what they say.
I had my INDY put in his brand middle weight,, I am fine with it.. Front don't dive as much as she did with the stock oil in her.
