I've had his pipes for more then a year and love 'em! I was concerned with starting the bike up in the morning and waking the neighbors but these seem pretty tame till you hit it. Then they really bark! Reminds me of a big block I had once. Puts a smile on my face everytime!
I just sent him an email thru Ebay to ask what canned map to use with his pipes since I'm getting a PCIII.
I've got the B&E Superflows on my '06 Road Glide. I agree, fairly tame sounding until you wick it up. Then she barks, loud and strong! No popping on decel. Rest of engine is stock. No issues with quality or fit. I kind of like that stock, stealth kind of look. Shipping was fast, and pipes were well packed.
I have his 2" slant cuts and like them.....deep and throaty and not too loud....softer than the Samson Rolled Thunders they replaced. Bob might be having some difficulty obtaining stock '07 mufflers due to the ending of the model year. He's up in Nebraska. Usually responds to eMail promptly.......good guy to deal with.
Keep checking on eBay.....that's the only way he sells 'em.
I have the straight cut with the sound decibel at 103 or so they say. My wife doesn't complain about the sound so that must be good. I'm also running them on true duel set up. 96 road king
I have 2'B&Esand they sound nice and deep I just orderd a set of 1.75 rush from fuel moto with powercomander III and A/C now just waitng on the slip-ons But Iwill sell the B&Es when the new ones come in. They only have about a 1000 miles on them
Like I said, 2". I have a friend that bought the 1.75" and we thought that there wasn't much difference between the two. He thought they would be quieter than mine. He was used to the HD stock muffler and had grown used to hearing engine noises!
