Who among us have experience with Yuasa battery service? I'll be looking to replace my battery in the next few weeks or sooner but wanted to get some real-time users telling their stories. Thanks
I had one in my SuperGlide. It had been in there for 4 years when I traded that bike for my current bike. It was going strong and never had an issue with it.
I was looking there for them and landed on one for $128 but it had a review from some dude that complained about Amazon selling 'old' dated batteries. In fact, his only lasted one season and was dead after the first winter with a tender. They replaced it for him but, IIRC, it happened twice so his thoughts were to be sure you get one from an Authorized Dealer that would most likely have more recent dated batteries. But yeah, I'll likely order online just because it's usually the best pricing structure.
I like the Duracell from Batteries Plus.
2 year warranty, local store and stores galore all over the USA, walk in and out if there is an issue.
The Yuasa on Amazon has a 90 day warranty, methinks.
My Duracell is going on 6 years, no problem yet.
