Default part number for seat mounting hardware

Hi All. Over the winter I picked up a sundowner seat off ebay for a great price...but on the ad I did not notice that the rear mounting bracket was not included. When I got the seat and saw it, I figured I'd pull the bracket off the 2013 RKC stock seat and install on the sundowner. Well I took the bike out of winter hibernation today and went to swap the bracket and realized the stock RKC seat is riveted on. Below are pictures of the two seats. Stock first, sundowner second. Looking at the sundowner seat, it looks like the two mounting holes have threads making me think a new bracket would be screwed on.

So does anybody know the HD part number or after market mounting bracket? Below is a part I found at dennis kirk but it doesn't come with the screws. Not a big deal as I can get them at the hardware store but makes me wonder if this is infact a replacement.

Any advice or guidance is most appreciated.

Does that rivet go through the mount? Generally, you push down on the black piece just in front to pull down the two black round dots that hold it in and then slide the tab out the rear. Then you could screw it on the Sundowner. My Sundowner doesn’t have screw holes, hast the black tabs.

But to answer your question; that drag part replaces 51652-83B which will work

Yeah it looks like the rivet is through the bracket and those two horizontal plastic braces are apart of the seat. I'd have to cut them to be able to pop the bracket over the two black posts.

Thanks for the confirmation on the part number. I'll be ordering one this weekend.

No, you push down on the front black piece to get the two posts to go down enough and pull the bracket out the rear. See circled area in pic that you push down to release the two posts

I have the seat in front of me and I can push the two tabs down but the bracket won't move due to the rivet in the center. I'd have to drill it out. is that what you are suggesting?

I suppose you could drill it out, but the tab is cheap enough to just grab a new one. Dealers usually have them in stock if you have one close by in case you didn’t want to wait for the drag part.

So I got the drag specialties part and I put it on the seat and the bracket seemed too long. I couldn't get it to line up with the fender mounting hole. So I called up the HD dealer and they gave me the following part number: 51652-97a. They didn't have it so I called 2 other HD shops, I have 3 with in 50 minutes of my house and one of the shops had it. It was great weather so I went for a ride and picked it up and it instantly look like a match.

Anywho I get home, test mount it with a random bolt I had lying around and mount the seat and the bracket won;t line up to the fender hole, it is still a little long, not as much as the aftermarket part but it won't line up. At this point I am almost wondering if the seat is getting hung up somewhere. I push the seat as far forward as it will go, the entire bike moves I'm pushing it forward but it won't line up. With my stock steak, I can push it forward and the mounting bracket would be past the mounting hole, i.e. too far forward. The HD seat, 52093-08a, that the site says will fit my bike, but I am struggling to get it to line up.

Any ideas??
