Headlight keeps cutting out on me. I thought the connector might just be a loose, but everything is seated correctly and tight. Also checked all the pins/wires and am getting good voltage. If I push in on the top of the headlight (towards the handlebars with the fairing on), the light comes on. Push on the bottom and it goes out. Very bizarre. It's under warranty and I can take it in to the dealer, but this one has me scratching my head and I'm really curious now. Any thoughts?
On a new one, bet they scuffed a wire and it is taking out the breaker. Just a wild guess and that only if they have put a heat reset breaker somewhere..My first motorcycle back in the 60s did that. Never did figure it out but I was about 17. If they tie down the headlight with a rope, I would find another mechanic...
