My 02 RK. pretty much all stock except for the exhaust. Sounds great,no idea what make they are. There is no name on them, just a 'for offroad use only' stamping.
I love this bike 32,000 miles.
Gotcha. I was looking at how close ChetB's '02 standard looked like mine and empowered01's 2013 standard looks identical to my '12 standard.
My BIL's '05 custom does have a raised badge that looks like I Like Pie's '07 custom.
Sweet bike! I'd love a newer one, but I just got my black stage 1 2014 king. Runs great. Anyways, I got haters on mine. How you like yours? Mine is actually tame unless ya crank on it and it sounds gooood. Lol. Hoping to decat or put catless aftermarket header on very soon. Couple weeks maybe. Should get a lil more volume and less heat. Enjoy!
Also, how tall of windscreen came on your bike? I'm gonna get one of those too.
I like the neighbor haters, not too loud are Lund town but do have some bark when you get on them. I have a separate header I bought to take the CAT out. Does get pretty hot in the summer. Just the stock windshield, not even sure what size it is. The thing that helped the most are the fangs on the front forks. Plus the mustang seat make a world of difference.
Yes I have done them 3 times, 32k, 60k and 90k. all 3 times I think I could have gone longer. the first time I changed them it was hard mostly because I first times are hard, but after that it was an afternoon job for me and the boys. my sons have done a few for my buddies, and they also converted my dads 03 to the SE plate and tensioner for reliability.

I wish I had the confidence to do that. I'm pretty mechanical, but she's my baby. Lol. Wonder how many hours a shop charge just to check? That and I hear the inside one is very hard to examine.
