Engine light

I have a 2000 Ultra and after washing it the engine light stays on. Bike runs fine though. Is there a way to reset the light without going to the dealer?

So we both asked about engine lights and neither of us got a reply. Mine comes on sporadically and just like yours, no change in performance.

..and if not do a search for error codes..depends on year.. 04 up uses a different process to check error/trouble codes.
