Cheapest way to get new to me 02 Roadking to ....
Just recently purchased an 02 Roadking Classic to replace the one that I wrecked and was totaled. This new bike seems quite refined...almost to refined. It is quiet as a mouse...looks like a Harley,, but sound like a Honda..What do I need to due tomake it bark just a little louder.Dont' wnat to spend a ton of money or do the downloador Stage Ithing right now. Don;'t wnat to really mess with tuning and dyno etc. It runs fast enough for me now. but, miss the Potatosound..

I have a set of V&H oval slip ons that I am selling since buying a set of long shots. They were on my 02 RK with no download and it ran fine (a little popping on decel, but not any worse than a lot of slip ons). I would sell them to you for $250. Just a thought.

Wild Pig slip-ons........$175 delivered when you buy them thru ebay, and you get a free t-shirt.
I've installed many sets of these for people and have never had one complaint about them. They have a great deep sound to them, and are not too loud at all when under throttle.
They are very affordable and are a great buy for someone in just your position.

I have the SEslipons but they didn't have a good sound until I did headers. They sound just right now. Somewhere in the middle. I have a friend that did the Wild Pigs (I think they are seconds off ebay but we couldn't find any flaws) and I agree with Maine, they are a deal and sound great.
