Will an '06 Street Glide Muffler fit an '02 Electra Glide?

I have '06 CVO mufflers on my '99 and love them.

I would get the cats out before you use it on a older bike. Just my $0.02.

Yes it will fit, I tried to remove the cats in these pipes, can't do it without having the right eqipment..... gave up and ruined a good muffler

I was ablt to punch out the cat with a 1.5" steel pipe (and small sledge hammer) that I sharpened the edges on with the bench grinder. Very clean and quite easy. Zero costs (I had the pipe). Maybe you can fix the ruined muffler.
