We have all probably beat this dead horse enough, but I believe that I am going to switch from my SE slip ons to the Pythons. The bike is stock except for the stage I. Its a carbed 04 roadking.
I guess that we all have opinions, but I was wondering if there is any reason I should go with the Rush 2.0 instead of the Pythons?
I like noise, and the SE are just too quiet.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
Go with the Rush and 2.50' baffles. Should provide the music you are looking for. Don't know much about the Pythons but I have the Rush with 2.25' and like them. Would like a little louder but can't use the 2.5' baffles on the '07s.
The pythons are supposedly made by V & H. I have that brand on my Wide Glide.
Looks like they only have one baffle, or more or less a straight through design.
I talked with the folks that make the Rush muffs and they suggested only the 2.0 baffles.
I just got the bike off the dyno, and I guess I dont want to spend the extra bucks to put it right back on, thats why the hesitation about the pythons. The Guy that dynoed my bike said that if I used the Rush, it wouldnt require any tuning change.
