Default Clutch problem...

I am in need of a new clutch, hub, plates, basket for my 02 road king classic (ill explain in the thread)

and ive found one that goes on a 02 dyna, would they be interchangeable?

Did a quick look on Ebay, found a whole assembly for $199.99. What happened ?

Looks like you have your self a little mess there that whole assembly is what your going to need Good luck with a little more work you'll have it back together again.

After scanning the drawings from Ronnie's looks like the parts are the same but verify, Ronnie's HD.

Hub, plates, basket are the same for dynas, softails and baggers as is the comp. Only differences between bagger to softails and Dyna is primary covers and chain.. You need to use a 98 to 06 (not 06 dyna) clutch to work. One thing to note is that the 99 (98?) to 01 Magneti Marelli efi baggers will have a 37 tooth clutch basket instead of 36 and a 24 tooth comp sprocket. On other thing to be careful of is whether or not the ring gears on the clutch hub has been replaced with aftermarket.
