Default Heavy clutch pull

Recently acquired a 15 Roadglide Special the hydraulic clutch seems really stiff . I noticed that there had been a recall for the hydraulic clutch could this be the problem ? Thanks

The clutch on my 18 road King was stiff but not overly so. Once I had the clutch recall done it's now like butta. Not sure if they're related or it's something else that took place as a result of the recall but my clutch is much better now and much smoother and more compliant.

Your recall is a different animal than the Rushmore recall.

Good to know, I thought they were the same.

Hyd. clutch has a harder pull than the cable bikes for some reason, it can get tiresome in heavy traffic.

Flush the clutch fluid out (like you would brakes) and it will smooth out some, especially if it hasn’t been done yet.

I have a 12 Street Glide, so mine is a cable. I think it`s ridiculous that Harley has such a heavy hydraulic clutch. I hate the feel of the hydraulic clutch also, it barely has a friction zone. I have ridden many bikes, and the ones with hydraulic clutches that feel like butter.
