Turn signals intermittently working, cause static in radio when showing down
Hello. I have a1993 ultra classic. I've had the bike for a year and always had this issue. When theTurn signals work they cause bad static in the speakers. Usually happens when I'm slowing down coming to a stop and sitting at stop lights. Sometimes they won't work at all. Also my battery seems to not be holding a good charge and occasionally I will have to get a jump. Not sure if the weak battery is what's causing the Turn signal issue or not. Any ideas? Greatly appreciate you taking the time to read this.
When my battery goes bad in my motorhome, the electric stairs will start acting up and will come out while driving. Batteries and their connections can cause a lot of weird things to happen. Not saying that is definitely your problem, but if it’s going bad and needs replacing anyway, I’d start there.
This was my thought also.
Of course, having to jump the battery several times has probably badly reduced its capacity so a new one may well be in order. But definitely go over all the ground wire connections.
