I have an '07 street glide and bought a tour pack with all the brackets! I noticed that where the bracket is to mount i have a plastic piece going around the rear fender which is in the way! Has anyone had this issue and how did you make it work? Heres a pic of the piece that is in the way!
You probably want to ask this in the "Touring Models" forum. The "Street" forum is for the 500cc and 750cc liquid cooled Street models. They don't get as much love as the baggers do, or as much traffic in this forum.
And I'm pretty sure that plastic piece is not stock HD part, it's aftermarket. I think you have to remove it to put the tour pack on.
