Default Shock Fitment

I have an 05 ultra and want to upgrade
the air shocks. Can I install a set from a newer model like from 08 and up?

Yes. For example, the air shocks on my 08 (prior to ditching them for Bitubos) bore a -97 part number. Your ride came stock with 13” shocks when your are looking

I can't remember the year of the shocks I purchased off here for my 1999. I do know they where from an 08 plus CVO.

They where air shocks and the biggest headache was keeping track of the recommended air pressure for the new style shocks.

Love them. I have them set at plush and it seems to work fine. DK Customs set them up according to my input on the questionnaire. No bottoming out at all.

I run the Bitubos on my 2010 Road King. They are adjustable for preload and rebound dampening, so you can set them up either way depending on your personal preference. No bottoming...I'm 5'8" and 220 lbs.

They are great shocks and probably can't be beat for the money.
