Besides Harley, how makes a good rain suit. Currently use Frog Toggs but they are wearing out and are being retired to the golf bag. Really like Harley's stuff but could use a little better price (I'll sacrifice the logo)
I just bought what is probably Harley's lowest priced rain suit. It's the black and orange set that rolls up into a small "log". Paid $100 bucks. Two days after I bought it, I rode in a poker run, and it rained non-stop all day. The only thing wet at the end of the day was my gloves and boots.
Seemed like agood deal to me for that price.
I have that exact same suit - and while it's not for heavy duty touring it works great if you get caught in a sudden shower. It compresses really small too - I keep it in my saddlebag and barely know it's there. Also, the legs won't melt and ruin your pipes..unlike some other ones.

I have a set of First gear. They keep me dry in some really heavy rains. I,ve used them 4 days in BMRC and about 10 days since last year. No sigh of wear, but they arent cheap.
If I were you I'd just get a new set of frogtogs. They are the best rainsuit I've ever had. I've rode in many frog strangler rainstorms and they keep you dry as a bone, light weight and breath, so you don't get as wet from sweat as you would from the rain like nylon suits.
