Same here, Syracuse NY area. This State just sucks the life out of a person, especially this area. Between the banana republic dictator running the state and the constant lousy weather year after year it's just to much. I'm getting the hell out of here.
Im in Cicero, the mosquito capitol of CNY. My back yard is literally a swamp right now. Theres standing water in 1/2 of my front and back yards. I have another bike in my shed that I need to get out and sell......I cant even retrieve the bike because it will sink in the mud.
The rare times we get rain I head out into it. Feels good in the summer.
The actual rain doesn't bother me, it's the idiot drivers who have enough trouble when its bone dry out. Got caught in a tornado warning/thunderstorm in Colorado springs, we were like an hour from my in-laws. We pulled over to wait out the lightning. Was quite the experience but my ultra classic did just fine w Avon Storms.
Been raining every day with maybe a one day break in between, but with overcast and chilly weather here. Today, hit 73 and blue skies. Took an afternoon/evening ride and enjoyed the hell out of it.
I heard today, we've had rain 18 out of the last 21 days.At this rate I'll have to drain and refill the tank w/ fresh fuel.Although it was nice today .
Took a sick "cough, cough" day today. Gonna ride all day. 77 and sunny.
Funny, I almost took a half day today myself, weather was great, sunny and mid/upper 70*'s here. I rode in to work this morning, I'm kicking myself for not leaving and enjoying it this afternoon.

We had exactly 8 hours of sunshine yesterday, and today we are back to a steady rain. Its going to take WEEKS for my yard to dry out. I cant even walk on it right now, as its like trying to walk on wet sponges. Theres talk that flooding will be an issue soon up near Lake Ontario.
