Default Mystery bolt help

Pulling into the garage I found this mystery bolt on the garage floor. WTF! Just had the 30k service done at the dealership. I’ve looked high and low and cannot find the home for this bastard bolt.

It’s off a 2005 FLHRI

7/32” hex head, 3/8” diameter, about 1/2” of thread.

Please help. I’m preparing for a huge road trip and want this resolved before I head out. Help!

Go here and do a search by "description". Enter "bolt" and another window with all the bolts will pop up. I looked through quite a few exploded parts diagrams and I didn't find anything like it.

Looks pretty clean, any chance it came from an accessory? Or even another bike?

Look in the black areas around the engine. They probably dropped it and rather than look, grabbed another.

Go back to the people who serviced your bike, tell them it fell off, and have them explain.

7/32 hex head? Looks like an allen head to me.

Looks like a 3/8-24 Button Head Cap Screw. Not sure I have ever seen one on a Harley, but I don't own a Touring bike.

Where was it in reference to where the bike was?
