Default Mutazu vs. AdvanBlack Tourpack

Team, I just ordered the Advanblack stretched bags. Now, I'm thinking about updating my tourpack. I have the Mutazu King tourpack. I bought it a few years ago and it has a few thousand miles on it. Its never failed me but its really big and clunky.

Since I'm in love with Advanblack now, I'm thinking of going with one of their tourpacks. But this is the age old question: Razor vs. Chopped? I think people go with the Razor for looks but I'm wondering how practical it is. Can you actually carry stuff in a razor? With a 1/2 size helmet, will it actually hit in a Razor? Can it actually hit in a chopped.

Anyone with a chopped use it to carry their helmet and perhaps a jacket?

With my big old King, I go grocery shopping with it. I can easily put a case of beer inside of it and have room for more stuff.

But what's your opinions of the Razor vs. the Chopped.

Thanks!

I have a razor and want to get a chopped or a king. We have been on 2 trips with the razor, you have to pack very light and smart. We use zip lock bags and then hook them to a vacuum to suck the air out. Its great for around town to just throw a few things in but thats about it. Buddy has the chopped and it holds at least double what mine holds, seems that much anyway

The difference between razor and chopped is whether it can fit one pizza or two....

Don't bother with a razor. Might as well just get a rack on the back of the pillion and throw a backpack on it. Get a chopped. I have an HD one that I found on FB Marketplace in mint condition for $525 shipped. Awesome setup. Looks good and not big and goofy like the King pack, but I can still fit a bunch of stuff in there. The Razor is useless. My friend has one and he regrets dropping the coin for it.

To slim my pre 14 King one that I have for my 15 I swapped out the wrap around backrest to a chopped backrest.

I rarely run it since I bought a trailer, but it did help with the bulky looks.

I have seen the razor on a couple of bikes. Looks sweet, but useless. I am thinking of going with a chopped one myself. Don't want the huge bulky looking king tour pack.

I have the king tour pak and love the storage on long trips. I am looking at also buying a razor pak just for the look
