For those of you that use the Pit Boss helmet, is there any air circulation over the top of your head? Summer has finally hit the desert, and I'm exploring helmet options.....
I have one. I like it "ok". Not my fav, Not the worst one I have had. No real issues with it. I mean I wear it pretty regular. There is NO circulation inside ... so it probably would not make a good choice for Summer Desert riding. I wouldn't call it a Dog
My wife and I both have them, liners are not removable. I have not had issues with mine but my wife on the other end of that always having problems with the shield either not coming down or not staying locked in place.

My wife had trouble with it coming out of the hinge, I took a lighter to it and pushed it tighter just a bit. Hasn't had trouble since.
I had one, and the piece that pivots and holds the shield in broke very early on. I probably could have got it fixed under the 1 yr warranty, but it was too hot to wear, and I bought it for summer riding - I actually just tossed it for this years spring clean up.
I am using an HJC IS Cruiser, It does have rear vents, and it’s cooler than the bell, but I wouldn’t say you get any real air flow with it., but what helmet really does. It is a really comfortable helmet, and would recommend it to anyone.
The only drawback is the sunshield that comes stock is a very light tint, so I had to buy a dark smoke and a clear shield for it. That added $44 to the cost, but at $89 - the $44, it wasn’t too salty.
My wife and I are both on our second Bell Pit Boss. She wears hers year round! I like my Shoei J-Cruise in the winter and in the rain.
It gets warm here in N.C. and we have never felt we could not live with the helmet when hot. A quality product, the drop down shield is nice as is the zip out ear and neck cover. The rear dial adjustment makes it a perfect fit.
Thanks for the replies. I tried on the Pit Boss, and the visor crashed into my glasses while pulling it down, so it's out. I'll try and hunt down the HJC that @steelerdude1 suggested and see how it feels. In the meantime, my old scarred up helmet works.....
I use an LS2 Rebellion all year. The visor is dark smoke and I can pull it down over my glasses. Ear pads are removable but work well on the cold mornings. I can feel the upper vent letting in air when I open or close it. Overall, I quite like it.
