Looking to get info on the parts needed for conversion to single disc setup.
I’ll be getting:
• Black powder coated/shaved lowers from ***** Shiny
• Mono Tube front suspension setup (Progressive or Axeo...will see depending on $$$)
• Performance Machine 4 Piston Caliper
• EBC Contour Cut 11.5” floating rotor (used on previous bike and they rock)
• 9/16 Master Cylinder - read that it’s better to switch from the 11/16 stock to eliminate hard brake lever pull
Here is the main question:
I’m keeping my stock bars...I’ve used goodridge black fittings and lines in past for my ‘09 built Dyna and they’re awesome! What size fittings, cable length, & parts do I need to complete the lines on my ‘07 Street Glide. I don’t need part numbers, just cable lengths, bolt sizes, and recommendations, if any.
If you live in a state that requires registration inspections, you may want to reconsider.
Not required in Illinois. Another reason why I want to do this is because in the near future I’ll be getting new wheels and I want to powder the front end now, so this would be the time to shave the right caliper mount. I’ll be all set when it’s time for new set of wheels.
The wheel size that I’ll be going with will be 18” front and back.
