Default D&d exhaust interference

I have a 2014 Ultra limited that the previous owner put d&d exhaust. Today I attempted to flush the clutch fluid and couldn't get the cover off of the side of the transmission to get to the bleeder because the exhaust is too close to the cover. Anyone with d&d exhaust run into something like that and have a way to get the cover off without removing the exhaust?
Thank you for any advice!

Most exhaust systems on that particular bike blocks the transmission cover to pull it off haven’t seen one that doesn’t. To drain the tranny you just drop the bolt on the bottom or If you want to take that cover off takeoff the exhaust

I had a V&H Pro Pipe that blocked the cover. Since then, I've gone back to the stock exhaust, which does not block the cover.

I've thought about getting a stock decatted exhaust with some aftermarket slip ons because I like the look of dual mufflers better and it sounds like I wouldn't have to remove the exhaust the change the clutch fluid.

Sounds like a pain in the butt. You'd think that d&d would have made a better design than that.
