I am extremely impressed with it in stock form. It gets the job done very well! Our bike LOVES to 3 k to 3500 RPM range all day between 80 and 85 MPH. Head winds are like nothing anymore. I remember the day I felt like I was going backwards with a 96 CI and a strong head wind. I have one buddy with a built 96 to 103 that is strong. He will tell you how well the 114 runs!
I like the word "SLEEPER". Used to have a 1999 Buick Regal GSE. A black four door sedan that with 93 octane and 6 PSI of boost would run with and stock V8 Mustang or Camaro back in the day! That was a sleeper!

The best sleeper I ever experienced was a 1984 Oldsmobile Regency Royale.
Huge car. No telling how many bodies you could hide in the trunk.
34 gallon gas tank.
Interior thermostat on a dial, set the temp and the big Olds did the rest.
Blue velour full power cushy interior.
Interstate cruiser made for long trips.
Oozed down the road.
Smooth.
Drove it with one finger.
Every time I got in it, I wanted to say "Goodnight".
..... does that then mean ..that the 117 is Harley's 'woke' motor ?
Was at the dealer looking at a bike with a new 117, thought it was a Dodge/Chrysler for a moment, it was leaking oil on itself.....117's have their own problems....
