I may be wrong in this statement but the 09 ,08 as with other years in that range the comp spring in spot welded to the rotor(stater cover). This why when you buy after market comps(baker) you have to buy a rotor also.
I believe I have a full set of old springs from an 09 compensator. What state are you in I'm az.
"Full set"? My factory comp had ONE coil spring inside a spot welded steel retainer cup. If you have the curved washer (belleville) springs, those aren't the factory springs that came on the bike. I would get a clarification of just what the OP is looking for.

You are correct my plan is to use only one to add to my stack to increase the spring tension, this compensator was designed for the 80ci.
The original has 4 belleville washers in a spot welded cup on the front of the rotor (cover of the stator)

I have a full set of four and willing to give up one only because I also use them on other comps that need added spring tension. I will be in Cinn. Ohio August 16th or I can send one to you can you pm me?

I'll send one to you probibly tomorrow if not Friday no worries, just a fyi I've installed one extra spring plate before with good success but with high miles the spring plates wear thru the spring basket and can come apart.
