Did a search but really couldn't fine much info. Looking for a wider than stock seat (I'm 5'-11 around 350 lbs) that doesn't push or add pressure to that spot that pinches the sciatic nerve. Went to doc and been doing PT exercises which has helped dramatically. However, the stock seat seems to push right on that muscle that pinches the nerve, and the pain during riding is killing the joy of it. Doc said to look for a seat that is wider and not as contoured. Looking for advice from riders with similar issues, and what you did to help solve it (I can't be the only one bitchin' about this - LOL).
Sundowner did for me very comfortable and I have multiple bad discs in my back, problem is it sits me too high and I cant flat foot anymore but Im only about 5 8 it may work for your height
I have had sciatica issues in my hip-butt cheek for years . I use a Harley police seat and it allows me 500-750 miles per day.
The seat is wide and firm plus I can get it adjusted where my hip is level with my knee or the hip is just slight above a knee. The long and short is the seat works for me as I’m not sitting in the frame.
