Picking up my new Ultra Limited in about a week. Due to certain circumstances, I have to trailer it 90 miles home.
Will it fit in a 5x9 UHaul trailer. Not sure about the length.
Yeah, but I think it's a little short for an Ultra. It's only 8 feet.
Think I'm going for the 5x9. I have a Wheel Dock Chock to secure the front wheel.
I've used a couple of different u haul trailers. The motorcycle specific was nice in that it had the lowest breakover height when loading. For me this made a difference in loading.
Not helpful to your question but I'm happy to say I've never yet had to trailer my ultra.
No matter which trailer you finally use, don't forget to put it in "trailering mode". Easy to forget and no fun to have a dead battery when you get it home.
