i just picked up a 2019 RGU 2 weeks ago. I just put on Fuel Moto Slash Up Outlaw slip ons and man i love them. 359 bucks on sale now. i took out the removable baffles but you can leave in if you want quiet. Perfect tone for me and purr at idle but bark when i get on it. You can do much better than street cannons imo. and no it doesn't void warranty if just slip ons.

Congrats on the new ride. Here is one of my posts on this topic a few months back - Enjoy and be safe -

"I had CFR's on my 15 Limited, loved the sound but I too got older and was looking for something a bit deeper and not so loud. I went with this company and I really like the low rumble. I do have headers and true duals. The other thing I liked was I bought the mid range inserts so if I feel like being a bit louder I can. So far, I have left them with mid range installed. Also, can hear the music a bit better."

I sent off my softail slip-ons to them when I had a softail. Nice rumble nice price. I want to try something different with this M8 I have.

They don't seem to be as popular among Harley owners as other brands such as Vance & Hines, Rinehart, and Bassani but it doesn't mean they're not a quality muffler.

If you find a Cobra muffler you like the look and sound of I wouldn't hesitate to use it. In fact the Cobra 909 is one of my final choices to use on my SG.

I'm with Matt... the FM Street Outlaws are great and can't be beat at $359. I got mine for $319 during one of their sales promotions which come up every so often. The removable inserts allow you to experiment and they can be adjusted to grow with your mods. I'm running them on a M8 (RGU), which are notoriously quiet when compared to the twin cams. With the inserts out on a stock head pipe (no loss of torque with cat still in) they sound great, even at idle. The fit, finish and quality is as good or better than anything I've seen. Best $300 I've spent. Highly recommended.

Well, so any backfiring with stock tune and cat still in?

No backfiring at all and I've run them with inserts in and inserts out. I settled on inserts out for the extra volume and tone. Zero dip in torque, in fact the throttle feels more responsive leading me to believe I may have picked up a few foot pounds, plus there's the sweetest "burble" on decel. I'm really impressed with these mufflers and still can't believe they're available at that price point. Remember when I spoke of the high quality, fit and finish? When I opened mine they had a S&S sticker on them leaving me to believe S&S is making them to FM's specs...
