Can any one for sure whether the right and left side mufflers are the same or not the same. Im wanting to do the FulSac true duals and leave the stock pipes but don't think I should if the right side has more baffling. I see a lot of variations over the years on touring mufflers and am curious as to the 2007 FLHX, as I don't mind the sound now.

I have SE slipons and did not like the logo on the outside so I swapped the around so the logo is now on the inside on my 07 RK, so I say yes they can.

rk classic.

Cool, but like I said I have the stock mufflers NOT SE slip ons. Some of the stock mufflers have been proven to have additional baffling in the right side muffler only, that's what I am asking, if there is a difference in the 07 model FLHX.

I have a set of 2007 stock RKC mufflers, and Yes there is a whole lot more baffling in the right hand muffler, than the left. The TC 88 mufflers. are pretty much the same, However if you want good stock muffler sound and great performance, go for the newer stock TC 103 mufflers they are very much the same, as to right and left,. which is what I have done to my 07 RKC.

Thank you 6 gun that's what I was wondering. I am going to check out some CVO mufflers by me for sale as they are supposed to be pretty mild. I do have a set of stock muffs from my old 2002 TC88 I will check out too since the 07s aren't identical.

since you have the stock 02 TC 88 mufflers, then that should be all you need, because your 07 is 96 CI and the SE kits for TC 88s were 95 CI. One inch wont make that much difference, and you can save your self some money. If you are looking for a happy note from the exhaust drill a hole in the center of the plugs in the TC 88 mufflers. You can use a hole saw to get to the center of the plug, then use a little by little bigger drill bit till you have the sound you like, but remember it is easier to take steel out .than it is to put it back in. If you need help send me a PM.
