I thought I had a shifter seal or the output shaft seal leak turned out the bolt by the shifter shaft was just a tad loose
Cleaned it all up and all seems to be good but I only rode about ten miles so far..

Im doing the exact same thing. Cleaned it all up yesterday, going for a ride today to heat it up. What bolt are you talking about?
Looks to be good so far.. I put 50-60 miles on it and everything is all clean
The bolt is a Allen head bolt right above the shifter shaft I put less than 1/8 of a turn on it
Funny thing is she puked out a good amount of fluid last week I had to add 5 oz to the trans after that to get it back to the full mark. I rode a little over 200 miles and nothing but the small weep that it had... Another HD mystery lol
