Hello.
I have a 2012 Roadking. I know they had a recall on the voltage regulators. I'm pretty sure mine never got up dated. So now its taking a dump and I would like some recommendations on a good replacement. I would prefer not
to donate more money to Harley for one of there's. Because I have been doing a lot of that lately..
Thanks ..

Go to Cycle Electric for a new regulator...... A friend used them once.. on a bike, shortly before he sold it... so I can't give a long term, personal knowledge recommendation.. but I've never heard a bad thing about a Cycle Electric part.....
What they said, CYCLE ELECTRIC!
I had some trouble installing on my 12, with oil cooler lines.
I installed in FRONT of rather in behind the cross mounting bar.
Hope this helps, tenn.vol.

I forget for what years it's for, but they also make a model that mounts higher up on the front of the frame for cooler air flow and to avoid interfering with oil coolers/oil lines/debris kicked up from front tire....
Cycle Electric-and,they are available from a few different sellers on Amazon, just in case you like to shop there.[I had about 60 'points' on my Amazon card,so when I bought my regulator,I used those points to knock off 60 bucks from the sale price.]
