Installing the black heated grips in my 19 RK. All going fine, and then I think I might have pooched the controller left hand grip, maybe too much pull, too much push, but the plastic heat controller pops off and wires start showing.
I put it all back together, but it's not as smooth anymore.... And I fear the worst. I'd like to test it before I start splicing wires and installing the brake side.
I mean, if I broke it, I'd like to know now before completing the install.
Anyone know how to test this without finishing the install? Maybe an ohm reading on some leads? Will the one grip heat w/o installing the throttle side?
