While your here, what are some good rags for taking care of the black?
I need to replace my old one.
Autogeek should be real close to you. Cobra gold plush are a great all around MF. You will need more then one!
Most dealers, cars and bikes, offer a "Coating". In reality it is a sealant, but charge coating prices. So beware if your paying for it. if you are paying for it, I would pass on it.
Read up on auto geek about proper washing and drying techniques. It doesn't take much for black to turn into a swirled up mess. 2 buckets, some Rinsless wash and a electric leaf blower makes life a whole lot easier
Mike Phillips, from auto geek, told me about this guy. If Mike recommends him then he is the real deal. Have this guy coat the bike instead of the dealer if at all possible
I do the 2 buckets and a leaf blower but I have never used a rinse less wash before, unless original bike spirits counts. Which I havent done to this bike yet.
I can tell you first hand do not use bike spirit on a ceramic coating. Coatings repel everything, so when you spray this stuff on it becomes a oily mess.
Get a bottle of Wolfgang Uber concentrate. You can make Rinsless wash and waterless wash with it. Very economical and works outstanding
