Has any body bought a new 2020 FLHXS in this color yet and if so can you post some pics? I have a 2019 scorched orange and black denim but I am really drawn to that new performance Orange. Thinking I can trade for around $3500 but not sure if the color alone is worth it.
i would almost say you may be able to get a full set of tins or a paint job for cheaper...
Price out the tins painted from the factory. Probably cost you around $3500. Then sell your scorched orange set to offset the cost. I see paint sets on eBay selling for 2-3K

from the factory, a full painted set will run you over $5k, and that's just for red. don't know if there is a premium attached to the perf. orange. i doubt that you're gonna see the performance orange paint set on eBay anytime soon, though. i do know that the scorched orange/black denim is higher.

in that case, i'll take 2 dozen. i'll even let you keep the change from a quarter

I just pulled my spread sheet from when I looked into a paint set in the hard candy gold after it come out in 2016. I know that was 4 years ago (so prices probably went up) but the boardtracker price (which is gone now) for the painted pieces came to $3706. Reds and oranges do probably come in higher, so you may be correct on pushing 5K
