I am ordering these for my new RG and I am having trouble deciding on 12”/14” bar height.
I have ridden with the 12” and I really liked them, the only 14” they had to try were not the same bars.
I always read about “get the taller or you’ll be sorry later “.
I don’t usually ask for opinions on matters like this but I wouldn’t mid hearing your thoughts on this before I order.

I just installed a set of these bars on my 2019 RG. Went with the 12 inch...they are perfect for me and the wrist angle is great. I'm 6,1 with 32 inch inseam.
Go with the 14's. You'll notice the extra height on full turn for the first day or two, but then you'll get use to it and be happy you went up. All cables and wires work with 14's. Only thing you need is new bars. I had 12's on my last bike and like the 14's better

in my opinion, the best thing to do is sit on the bike, close your eyes and put your hands in the most comfortable height and riding position for you. That's what I did when I decided to go with the 12 inch Straight Jackets.
I have a set of black KST straight jackets 12” that were on my roadlgide for about 500 miles. Too wide for my liking so I took them off. You’re welcome to them for $100 plus shipping if you’d like.
